This hook will improve IPS Recent Topics hook by adding two features: number of topics to display on sidebar and the ability to EXCLUDE forums from appearing their topics in there.

I am a bit confused. This only puts in on the main forum area. How do I get it to change what is on the sidebar?

This is an enhancement of the IPS hook. The hook to main area is another one and has nothing to do with this.

Doesn't work whatsoever. Enabled it, chose the number of topics and forums restriction - it does absolutely nothing and it stays like before (yes I let some time pass already to see if it was updating with new topics, it didn't), it shows 5 topic and from the forums I "excluded" too. Version 3.3.

Which 3.3 version? It works on 3.3.0 and 3.3.1... Didn't tested on 3.3.2 yet.

Ah alright, yeah I have 3.3.2...

So, should I download for my 3.3.2 or not??

Not working with 3.3.4

It works for me:

NOT working on 3.3.4 for me. Excluded nor # of Posts are being reflected. Any idea of update time period? I see ou have begun work on 3.4 already though, will this cause a slowdown on the 3.3 front for these little bugs?

But what about the 3.3.4 users who wanted this? Are we going to get a compatible update as you go or are we being skipped?

I have been using this hook for almost 9 months now & I need to tell that for sure, this is one of my personal favorites. Yes, its working for 3.4.1 as well, but one bug that I have noticed ever since 3.3.2 days that randomly out of every 8 recent topics, one or two tend to disappear from displaying in recent topics. Any one else has noticed this?

It never worked here for me. From 3.3.2 all the way to 3.4.1... Doesn't affect the recent topics sidebar at all.

The only reason I am using IPB is because of this mod :smile:. Thou, I have wondering for a year, why out of every 10 topic, 2 topics disappear from the recent topics list... Any one else has noticed this?

Any chance of making this work? I'm using 3.4.2 and it's not working at all :(
