Marcher Technologies
Actually I'm on it... It will be a 3rd option for my gallery images on board index hook. Feel free :). This is simply a template for the nigh-infinite data-returns feed blocks can produce, in specific, for gallery images :)
Adriano Faria
It's done. I just need to find a way to separate each row: They're together. :)
Marcher Technologies
It's done. I just need to find a way to separate each row: [img] [/img] They're together. Just came back, double-checked, and noted i fat-fingered a class present in 2.3 and not 2.2 Content, patched the file appropriately... missing a pad and a float there. Unlucky
Hi, Can we configure this to choose how many 50x50 images are displayed in the row or how many images it shows in total? My column is too thin to have 5 in a row so the default 10 that shows is 3 rows of 3 with the odd one below. Ideally I would like to either show 9 images or 12, 15 18 etc so we have full rows and not odd images underneath being displayed many thanks

Unlucky
Hi, We have it set so that guests can view 2 imgaes before having to register / login. I cannot spot the setting to allow guests to view the image thumbs on this block. All that is appearing is the title "Recent Gallery Images" and there are no picture thumbs showing. When viewing the actual gallery page they are showing up ok, so we assume its connected to the block permissions? Many thanks again.

No permissions are honoured AFAIK as the template is the last place one should make that check, it would skew the result count... needs to have that function added to the gallery feed source file.... out of my hands. can i get an ss of what you speak of specifically? are you saying the thumbnails show for the logged-in user but not the guest somehow? Unlucky
Hi, Yes the thumbnails show for the logged in user but NOT the guest on your block But when they guest goes to the gallery section the thumbnails show up under recent images

Guest Ae9803
I get a weird thing happening on mine. I currently have it on ipcontent in the front page middle. if you look, http://www.carnivoreforums.com, it looks fine, single images and everything. But as soon as you login, it doubles the images. Does anyone have any ideas?
Guest Ae9803
Nevermind, I was able to fix it. Had to clear the cache :)
Unlucky
okay... will do some testing/digging.... Im using an API call to retrieve the images so something Is decidedly leftish. OK thanks Also spotteds another one - your block shows up all pcitures including the ones a member sets gallery images to "owner friends only" so we get an error if a member who is not a friend tries to view the gallery by clicking a thumb in the block

Excalibur
I'd love to have this hook for IP Board.. Aren't you planning to release one? I agree, any chance we can get this as a hook for IP.Board or has one already been made, and I missed it? Thanks. Actually I'm on it... It will be a 3rd option for my gallery images on board index hook. I have no desire to attempt to give the control regarding the data pulled that a feed block can in a hook.... I have always simply exported the block as a hook, but you can go check Adriano's mod... seems he has already put in that option.

rayzir
I really like this block. However, I run into an issue I can't seem to figure out. Each shrunken thumbnail shows up nicely, but when you click the thumbnail, it takes you directly to the raw image instead of the image view in the album. I added the word "click" to the hyper link (see below) and the link takes you to the proper image view in the album, but the thumbnail takes you directly to the raw image. So my thought is that something in the "{$this->registry->getClass('gallery')->inlineResize($this->registry->getClass('gallery')->helper('image')->makeImageTag($r),'50','50')}" is overriding the link? Thanks for any help you can offer. <foreach loop="$records as $r"> <li class='gallery_tiny_box ccsPos_left ccsPad_smaller' -data-id="{$r['imgid']}"> <a href="{$r['url']}" title="{parse expression="sprintf($this->lang->words['go_to_prefix'], $r['caption'])"}">Click {$this->registry->getClass('gallery')->inlineResize($this->registry->getClass('gallery')->helper('image')->makeImageTag($r),'50','50')} </a></li> </foreach>
