Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
ZakRhyno Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 I would like to see support for one of the most basic file types out on the net many people use for music, sounds, songs. mp3 with in IP.Board.
Michael Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 What kind of support are you referring to? You can already post the URL of an mp3 file and have a player show up in the post using IP.Board's Media Tag functionality.
ZakRhyno Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Attach mp3 file to article or something and it will allow it to be play.
Marcher Technologies Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Attach mp3 file to article or something and it will allow it to be play. i agree with this within the attachments system itself... it's easily IP.Content templated(single-file upload), but attachments themselves are a rather unified mess.... picking the exact same data out of the sql simply to properly display them is.... rather counter-productive... It all comes back, in my eyes, to allowing attachment type templates... of which there is a topic regarding i am unable to locate atm.
ZakRhyno Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 I click open and the music plays. lol, I mean with in the webpage not download and play.
Feld0 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 It all comes back, in my eyes, to allowing attachment type templates... of which there is a topic regarding i am unable to locate atm. This one, right? The ability to define attachment templates is just what we need.
