Aqua

This is the redesigned, shiny new Aqua skin for IP.Board and components. A tranquil color scheme is combined with razor sharp graphics for a refreshing combination.

Ultra-compatible, thanks to the use of an overriding CSS and zero direct edits to default templates.

Yes, a v2.3.x skin : Aqua Skin v1.1.2 designed by Kman of BGS and Im4eversmart of Global Gaming HQ. © 2007

Oh dear.... and I was about to write something nice. I guess the question now is, did he get permission to even do this skin?

Well I was just supplying the reason for for recognition. I suppose that "Kil.me" could be aka "Kman." If so, no permission would be needed as they would be the same author.

Skin looks very familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Great looking skin, looks like one i used to have on my old invisionfree site...

Aqua was originally an InvisionFree skin I designed and published with the username "Kman". It came in two flavors: Slate and Navy. I released it on BGStyles (BGS), recently re-opened as kil.me. The Navy version of Aqua was later converted by Im4eversmart of gghq, and later with some additional collaboration from SkinsBuy. I later also changed my username to "chawk", which is why on some more recent versions of the skin it will say copyright chawk instead of Kman. Aqua i1 is the latest version of the skin for IPB. If further evidence is needed I'll be happy to provide it. :)

I'll reply to some of the review comments here since technically my responses wouldn't be allowed on the submission page:

Does not work with Unreal Portal, I understand its a 3rd party program but most other skins work fine, Your skin looks great but the css coding is way bunched up, suggest adding a bit of spacing to it.1020px max width (I cant remember for sure) I kicked it to 90% and makes the board much nicer.Great job just work a bit on the code.

That's down to preference, and partly depends on screen resolution, etc. Many people think it looks better narrow, others prefer the wide view. On a 1920x1080 resolution the narrow version definitely looks better to me, but in other cases the wider version might be preferred. As you discovered, I've made it really easy to customize the width in the CSS so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. ;) As for Unreal Portal, as you noted, it's a third party program, but since you said most other skins work fine with it I'll be happy to take a look at what you're talking about.

I remeber seeing this file a while back. Were you the author of it. It was for the 2.x Series.

I originally created it on 1.3 Final. I didn't code the 2.x version; someone else converted that. See the post above for more details.

It'd be great if there was a banner file available so I can make a banner that matches the skin. :(

A PSD file is available via the imported image set, as noted in the instructions. :)

To anyone having issues with or questions about the skin, if you're looking for a resolution, then please - for the time being - post in this thread instead of via a review, as I will be automatically notified of such in the former but not currently the latter.

If it's the same issue that you were having with Hex, please note that Unreal Portal hasn't yet seemed to account for 3-part maintitles, and potentially any skin that uses such could be displayed improperly by Unreal Portal.

Hello,

How can unistall hook? I try to delete and a pop up says "You cannot remove this setting group as it still contains active settings. Please remove the settings inside it first." but inside there isn't any remove or delete option.

You can uninstall the hook by selecting 'Uninstall Hook' in the hook options menu.

If you mean the skin system settings, you might have to delete individual settings first (yes, it's a strange IPS rule). To do that you might have to enter developer mode, which you can do by adding this to a 'constants.php' file in your suite root:
define( 'IN_DEV', ( IPB_THIS_SCRIPT == 'admin' && $_REQUEST['app'] != 'nexus' ) ? 1 : 0 );
