Cyrem
I read this as 'Download: vBulletin' lol. Very nice skin, very clean. I'd be interested in a dark version of this.
DustinRyan
I will definitely consider a dark version for the future. I don't have the time to work on any other skins to release so soon with the holidays coming up and all, but it's something I'll certainly keep in mind for my next skin release. Thanks for the feedback!
Cyrem
Wait, maybe I didn't notice this the other day... but I thought this was a paid file?

DustinRyan
The background is a patterned image. It's supposed to look that way. You can remove the background image, though, from the CSS if you do not like it.

AlexJ
What about the skin changes? I thought 3.3.0 to 3.3.1 has skin changes according to some posts on community forums.
DustinRyan
There are skin changes, but they are extremely extremely extremely minor. There was 1 line of CSS added, and 1 tag added to the HTML in the globalTemplate. I am rolling out an update very soon which includes these things, but nothing that will break the skin. The skin itself works in 3.3.1. You won't find anything that breaks the board in there. The skin changes are just too minor and just fix really odd bugs that people have come across. But if you want to wait for the update, it should be live in the next day or so :)
DustinRyan
Update: Because I love you guys so much, I released an update today. Just now. Supports IPB 3.3.1. The changes are very, very, minor. But there were people who were cautious, and rightfully so, about using the skin on IPB 3.3.1 before the latest update, so I have gone ahead and released the update. Enjoy! AlexJ
I need little more help on the navigation with low resolution screens.. With your skin, menu gets misaligned or something is wrong. [URL= With default skin, it seems fine. [URL= Can you please help? Thank you mate!
DustinRyan
If you open globalTemplate for the skin and find the following: <!--<li id='nav_other_apps' style='display: none'> <a href='#' class='ipbmenu' id='more_apps'>{$this->lang->words['more_apps']} <img src='{$this->settings['img_url']}/useropts_arrow.png' /></a> </li>--> See the <!-- and --> at the beginning and end of that code? Remove those. It will allow you to use the "more" dropdown menu in the navigation and create more space in your header for links. I originally removed it because people didn't want it, but since you have a very low resolution, you can enable it for yourself. Hope this helps! AlexJ
Still same issue.. It did added "More" but navigation bar is still wrong. [URL=
DustinRyan
Hmm can you link me to your board where I can see the skin live?
AlexJ
http://mygamingtalk.com/ Try to see in low resolution and you will figure it out what's wrong. I personally don't get any issue cos i have 1680*1050 but lower resolution then 1200 for widescreen or so will prolly get those issues.
DustinRyan
Have you considered using less negative space in your logo image? There's at least 30-40px that could be trimmed off of non-used space, and if you make the text in the logo maybe 2pts smaller, it will help as well. I can also reduce the distance between each nav link, saving another 10 or so pixels. Alternatively, I could implement the dropdown "more" menu to include many links by force, which is a little handy code I've used from time to time. Let me know which option you would prefer and I could take care of it for you. EDIT: Just remembered another option. The width of the board is currently somewhere around 84%. If you increase that to around 87-90%, that will also definitely help. EDIT2: I also see you removed my legal copyright. That's a shame...considering you stripped my credibility and I'm giving this skin away for free AND helping you with free support.
AlexJ
Sorry, no I didn't removed it. I just re updated your skin again and still it's missing. I will ask my another admin if by any chance he removed it or not. My apologies on that one. It was never my intention to do so. Width is already set to 98% on my board afaik. Issue is when I use stock IPB skin I don't get any menu problem because it auto adjusts while in this one it doesn't.
DustinRyan
The reason the board doesn't auto-adjust is because it's a different structure. The primary_nav is now on the same line as the branding, and you can't really auto-adjust the banner, or else it would stretch/retract into a really weird shape. So I would recommend removing that unecessary negative space on the right side of the logo image, and maybe even making it a few pixels smaller in width. Then you can (or I can) reduce the distance between nav links, which will also add space. There's a bunch of options. Don't forget the 3rd option, which is to add in a new dropdown menu, and put 3-4 links into that, which would definitely solve your low resolution problem. DustinRyan
Ok I figured out what it is. It's because for the board index, the right sidebar has a wrapper around it, which needs the extra space to display. But the other pages do not have it, but still account for the extra space needed. I have a fix, that I will apply to this skin and release an update for, but if you're looking to apply the fix, yourself, instead of waiting, here's what needs to change: In ipb_styles.css, locate this block of code: #index_stats { background: #fff; border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; padding: 8px; border-radius: 4px; -moz-border-radius: 4px; -webkit-border-radius: 4px; }
