this looks very interesting, does it have ability to tie into tracker at some point?


like promote ticket to tracker or use it to mark tracker item to assign, etc.



No, I haven't considered any option like that yet and it won't make it into the final version. Maybe for a 2.1 version... :unsure:

it seemed (to me) this covered stuff tracker does not (for a support system) while tracker has stuff this does not.
both are very good products (I had beta 1 installed) and what I plan on is using this as the support front end then manually copy over to tracker if needed.
I won't get many issues/reports anyway so its easy enough for me.

How can I change the words Ticket throughout the app... for example... at the bottom of the main page "Start New Ticket" and the stats like 4 Total Tickets and so on...




The only way is to edit your language pack in the ACP for the Tickets System application and replace all the words "ticket" wiht the one you want.

For some reason when I click on the tab it returns something went wrong, so I am assuming it is erroring.

I have set permissions and reinstalled it to see if it was due to the skin not being flagged as default, since for some reason it wasn't the default. But, it still seems to not be loading correctly.

Is there any error code? Or can you post a screenshot? I'm confused on the error you're getting actually...

When I click the tab IIS returns something went wrong and it cannot be displayed.



Someone else had the same issue and it was caused by the templates not being recached properly, try rebuild the templates and then recache the skins (3rd and 1st tools). If that still doesn't work I'll need a more detailed error so understand what exactly is going on..

I have to say that I really like this app so first off, thank you! Now I have a small question about how to do stuff with the functions:

- How do I change the status of tickets (I have 3 settings: Awaiting Review, Awaiting User Response, & Closed) yet I don't know how to change them to inform my users the status of their tickets.

That's pretty much about it for now.

I believe I've already replied this question on my forum but I'll reply here again: you'd need to enable the setting to allow everyone to post public tickets and then change the dropdown in the template to default to public instead of private by switching around the 2 html lines.

The status of the ticket can be changed in the (fast) reply form, you can also leave the post empty and only change the status.

Hi!

Is it possible to create some kind of "categories" for this mod?

For example, when a member chooses a department when creating their ticket, it automatically is filed under that department. However, I would like the front page of the tickets to have categories like Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, etc. so you can click on them and it would only display those tickets.

Where exactly or what file do we need to edit to do this and what link of code?
