File Name: Forum Terms & Rules Before Register Screen

File Submitter: Adriano Faria

File Submitted: 22 Nov 2011

File Category: User and Social Engagement

Supported Versions: IP.Board 3.2.x, IP.Board 3.3.x, IP.Board 3.4.x

This hook will restore the Terms & Rules before the register screen appears, just like in IP.Board 3.0.X and 3.1.X.

NOTE:

  • It is designed to be used in default IP.Board installation. DON'T BUY it if you use packages of IP.Nexus!

Compatibility:
  • Version 1.0.3: IP.Board 3.4.X & 3.3.X
  • Version 1.0.0: IP.Board 3.2.X

Just bought it. Not because I needed it SOOOOO badly, but to make a small contribution to your work. You have plenty free mods, which I use and like a lot. Let's say, I felt myself a bit in debt before you :-)

One small note. Could you, please, add a distinct class or id to your template? See, there's a default style:

ul.post_controls li

{

	float: right;

}

So if you put a list in Terms, it'll inherit this styling and there's no way to address lists on Terms page only, since all classes there are default ones.

There is a bug on this,

Gast >> Create a account , Registration Form " In order to proceed, you must agree to the following:" I have read 1e >>> Continue Registration>> step 1 Create a account. ????? 2e than there is a other Registration Form ??????

Can you be more specific? Where is the error?

It works exacly like it was on 3.0.X and 3.1.X: shows a screen with terms first.

Agree and you're redirected to the first step of registration!

The description is clear and there's a screenshot showing how it works.

than you go to step 2

and you see Agree and you're redirected to the step three ????

Agree 2e

Thanks Dave

As I said, the hook works on a default IP.Board installation! You have SUBSCRIPTIONS or NEXUS installed, which isn't a default installation... that's why it redirect to terms twice! Before you say it has a bug, you need to see if you're running something else...

Which APP are you using ? SUBSCRIPTIONS or NEXUS ?

worked beautiful for me, thanks Adriano.

Thank you for the feedback. :)
