Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 8, 201113 yr I believe the polls should be generally upgraded but for starters what I need is to be able to close a poll (not being able to vote) without closing the topic.
December 12, 201113 yr That would be very useful. Hard to believe 3.2.3 doesn't support that. A poll should have the ability to be closed from voting while the topic's discussion continues.
December 12, 201113 yr Exactly. We use them for contests with voting, and then the contests end but you can't close the poll. Needs a close time. I have so many closed topics because of this, and want to reopen them once this is added.
December 20, 201113 yr LOL i thought IPB had that already! How did it survive without this option?
March 14, 201213 yr I spend some time trying to find who to do this on my board :logik: It's something present on all board software's and needed to many admins. One more requesting that option!
March 17, 201213 yr I spend some time trying to find who to do this on my board :logik: It's something present on all board software's and needed to many admins. One more requesting that option! +1
March 20, 201213 yr +1 I hope IPS Staff is reading this. It's a shame that IPB doesn't suport it already.
March 21, 201213 yr Please add this! I remember thinking it was strange that this feature was missing when we upgraded from ipb1 to ipb2, and now we're about to go to v3 still without it?
March 21, 201213 yr I noticed this a few days back when I went to close the poll. :logik: Did not want to close the discussion so ultimately left the poll open too.
January 20, 201312 yr I just went to close a poll assuming the functionality was there, but alas it is still not! Please add this feature.
