Axel Wers
What do you think about this skin "issue"? http://community.invisionpower.com/tracker/issue-33162-they-still-mistakenly-clicking/ Do you have similar experiences on your boards? Pereira
It was an issue for me at the start but I have got used to the 3.2 way. The old 3.1.4 boards annoy me more now. :P

sound
do it on here all the time current default way is not logical be better imo to use the avatar image purely as the profile link/rollover trigger and the text as the last post could ask what is the point of having two profile links so close together less links per page the better especially if you think just how many times are people going to click on the profile
Rhett
It's been mentioned a few times....

sound
Yes, very often happens on my site after upgrade. it makes even less sense when you scroll the indexes using the mousewheel popup-link-popup
Rhett
There is a modification posted here somewhere to turn off the hovercard, much better without it imo.
sound
if the image was the trigger then it would bring a sort of uniformity to the indexes all popups would be in a straight vertical column members would only get the popups if mouse enters that "zone" the "last post" links would be in a similar vertical zone to me it would makes the layout more simple and more intuitive
Management Matt Posted September 4, 2011 Management Share Posted September 4, 2011 You can easily re-skin it on your own board if you wanted to.

bfarber
The problem is, when looking at a list of forums you need to show the topic title in the "last post" area. Otherwise, you'd just see "so and so posted on x date" with no idea what they posted in. When you are viewing a list of topics it makes no sense to show the topic title AGAIN in the last post info column (the title is already displayed in the first column). When you are viewing a list of topics it makes no sense to show the topic title AGAIN in the last post info column (the title is already displayed in the first column). if you combined the links in the furthest right column to always provide one link to the last post each time and the image to always be the trigger for the popup card and link to profile then above wouldnt be a issue and both pages would have the same setup to me would be an improvement as even now find myself when going to view "last post" theres always a pause as have to check if got right link if adopted the above then could almost do it with my eyes closed
