Michael
Unless Youtube changed something with their playlists, it should still work fine, nothing changed in IP.Board with how existing Media Tags would work. What URL are you trying?

• Jay •
Just in case anyone is wondering which URL to use (since there are a few)... Thank you, Michael. Our members will love this! :)
Michael
It's a Media Tag. When installed, if you post the link to that type of media, the in-post player appears instead of just showing the link.

SleddersVision
I'm sorry for being such a newbie, but I have just started taking care of my own forum after having someone do it for us for several years. I'm not even sure how to install this in the forums. Could you help or send me in the right direction? Thanks! Keith
Michael
The instructions that come with this download explain how to install it, was there a part of those you didn't understand?
NickDorazio
I believe the difficulty is that the menus are no longer labeled that way. You wrote: ...visit the Look & Feel tab -> Post Content -> Manage Media BBCode page. In the 'Import New Media Tags' section, browse to the XML file included with these instructions and click Open. but the labeling now is: ...visit the Look & Feel tab -> Post Content -> Manage Media Tag page. In the 'Import New Media Tags' section, browse to the XML file included with these instructions and click Open. Thanks. Great plugin.
NickDorazio
THis works great under most conditions. However, when I view a page with a playlist embedded from either an iPad (using the full theme, not the mobile theme) or an iPhone (using the mobile theme) then the playlist does not appear. Just blank space about the size of the video. I don't think it is Safari that is the problem because this works fine on a PC running Safari. Any suggestions? Michael
The only thing I can suggest is that you check with the support channels available for those products. If the issues only manifest when using an iPad or iPhone, then it sounds like an iPad/iPhone problem.

Marcher Technologies
that link 404's on youtube..... are you certain the link is correctly formed/valid? I updated this file for that very format, a client raised the issue in PM that yt changed the playlist url format, so I know that format is supported and WAI. I assume it is showing a broken player then? A Broken player on a posted playlist that 404's is user error, I'm not going to go check yt that the playlist exists, that would be technically not possible with a media tag anyway and a bad idea all around. Delete the media tag if present first. It appears my regex match needed wrapping with a cdata node(uncertain why it is not like that from export).
