This mod allows Administrators to define default content for new topics and replies in individual forums.

Configuration is set in the ACP - a new module will be available in the Forums tab. From this module, you can:
- Define post templates
- Include BBCode/HTML inside templates
- Link post templates to individual forums
- Specify different templates for new topics and/or replies

This hook is compatible with IPB 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4.

HI

The post editor in the admin seems to be not applying the styling to the text.

For example i have added a line between each text i put in but when submitting a post it is all on one line.

It seems the editor is not applying the styling.

I am new to IP forums so please let me know if i have done something wrong with permissions.

Thanks

I also get a warning at the top of "Configure Forum" tab:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home2/extreame/public_html/admin/applications/forums/modules_admin/defaultpost/forums.php on line 195

Why is this?

I will test HTML for posting and report back.

EDIT: Yep HTML posting is enabled on the forums, also enabled for members (where allowed)

Nice work, thanks. All working as expected %7Boption%7D

Any chance you could make a hook for just posts? in particular forums?

For instance, I have a topic in a forum, and would like a template for only replies in that topic, not the whole forum.

I don't mind the answer, but I would love to see something like this in the future.

Possibly. I've been thinking about allowing multiple templates per forum, which would mean that you can select the template to apply when you create the topic. This will have to wait though... at this point I can't take any feature requests for free mods, at least not until I finish upgrading everything.

Thanks for the suggestion though. :)

I thought I was.....?

If there's an issue with it, please post a screenshot so I can see what the problem is.

Sure, here you go:

Old Editor being used in the ACP

And here is the new editor on the forums:

You can see the extra icons (I have added to the new editor) on the old editor are not there, but are on the new.

Yes, I did mean the topic. It would be awesome if you integrated this with advanced prefixes and tags, cuz that way if they selected liek "QUESTION" it could lay out the format. That would be so awesome. If you worked with him on that, I would gladly pay for a more premium version :)

Nevermind... I found it.. it was under the top Forum drop down area haha.. I had the hardest time finding this as many of the other mods do it differently lol... Great mod as usual. I'm still loving the other Topic Mod I bought from you where I can require fields to be entered before posts are made. I'm sure I'll love this one as well.
