At the moment, you can't. Photos are not included in the data that is pulled from the database.

{IPSMember::buildProfilePhoto($post['last_poster_id'], 'mini')}
this gets the photo what only need to make it when i click to go to the user profile can you tell me how to configure it?

That would be

<a href='{parse url="showuser={$post['last_poster_id']}" base="public" seotitle="{$post['seo_last_name']}" template="showuser"}'>{$post['last_poster_name']}</a>

How can you change the color of the top bar?

The block follows the standards of all IPB sidebar blocks, so it should match any other blocks on that page.

If you're looking in your CSS, I believe it's in ipb_styles.css - look for ipsSideBlock h3.

Hi, is there any way to include topic prefixes in the output?

Thanks!

Prefixes are not currently supported. Sorry.

Thanks for the quick response headstand!

Is there any way that I can make the changes myself to include prefixes?

Content Spy compatibility is actually implicit since IP.Board 3.2--same as for anything that supports IP.Board's built-in tag/prefix system. You should contact HeadStand and ask him to include topic prefixes in the output, or else what changes would be necessary to add that.

Based on the above, it seems as though it might only be a couple of lines of code to get the prefix output... As far as formatting the html and css, I can do that myself, as long as I can get the mod to output the prefix somehow... I guess that's what I'm after - just the bare minimum code to get the prefix into the output...?

SIGH..... three things:

1. It's not just a couple of lines of code.

2. You wouldn't be able to modify the hook file source unless you were working in the XML, which is incredibly messy. The only way to do this properly is to work in developer mode and then use the ACP to export the hook properly.

3. Why does everyone assume developers are male? :(

Ahhhh, OK. Thanks for that clarification. That's something that would be above my skill level at the moment. Maybe it's something to consider in a future version?

Thanks for the great mod BTW, much appreciated!

Oh, and that's a great question... I have no idea why people naturally assume that devs are male. I must admit, I assumed it also! :blush:

How do I change the thread link from "get new post" to "get last post"?

<a href='{parse url="showtopic={$post['tid']}&view=

getnewpost

" base="public" seotitle="{$post['title_seo']}" template="showtopicunread"}'><b>{$post['title']}</b></a> <a href='{parse url="showtopic={$post['tid']}&view=getlastpost" base="public" template="showtopic" seotitle="{$post['title_seo']}"}' title='{$this->lang->words['view_last_post']}'>{parse replacement="f_lastpost"}</a>

I tried to change the bolded part but apparently it's not enough.

Thanks for this great hook!

Changing the bold part to "getlastpost" SHOULD do it. Take a look at the next link (the one right after this, in the same quote you posted). That's the exact link. ;)

Hello,
your hook is awesome. But I have a little problem, when a member post a spoiler, it appears in the sidebar and becomes visible to the views of others. Which is rather annoying for people who do not want to discover what lies beneath the spoiler. Do you have a solution? Thank you and sorry for my bad English.

A new version has been uploaded to the Marketplace. It contains a fix for this issue.

A new version has been uploaded to the Marketplace. It now contains support for user photos.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I will not be changing the template for this block. There is simply too many different configurations and there is no way I can make everyone happy. The support for the photos simply means that the data is available to those of you who wish to display it. You are free to customize the skin template any way you choose.

Starter Photo data is available as $post['starterData']

Last Poster Photo data is available as $post['lastPosterData']

So, if you were going to display the photo of the topic starter, you would do something like:

{parse template="userSmallPhoto" group="global" params="$post['starterData']"}

You could also do:

<img src='{$post['starterData']['pp_small_photo']}' class='ipsUserPhoto ipsUserPhoto_mini' />

If there are any questions on this change, please post them here.
