• Jay •
Can ignored posts be expanded to collapse quoted text from ignored members? To illustrate, I ignored Yalla Group for testing purposes, but a quote still showed his post: Can this text also be collapsed? Otherwise, how useful can it be to ignore people if their text will still show up in topics when quoted?

While not disagreeing... thinking of special cases, to wit, even implemented via the quote "name", what if someone uses [/CODE] tags without speccing member name by copy/paste? Michael
The ignore member feature works off the ID# of the members you have stored on your account. Quoted posts only list the name of the member. In order to do what you're asking, each time a quote is parsed it would have to also store the ID# of the member who was quoted in order to check and see if they are on your ignore list. I'm well aware of the limitations imposed by manual quoting. That's why I included the screenshot.
