Michael Posted July 18, 2011 Share Posted July 18, 2011 I've not ever used vBulletin or any of their products, so I have not ever seen anything like that personally. But the conversion page says that the vBulletin 3.8 convertors will convert to IP.Subscriptions, which is essentially what this app is, so that may work for you. I am also wondering if I have the correct address for IPN handling for my site. Right now it is this. And yes I have IPN noticfications in my history in sandbox. http://www.xboxchaos.com/index.php?app=subscriptions&module=incoming§ion=receive&do=validate&type=paypal I disabled auto-completion on return validation and the app is hidden from the main bar so that I can set it up w/o my members noticing. Thanks for the reply Michael! I'll set it up for live use and watch it closely. EDIT: Having the Return Auto Validates setting off caused the issue. It works now in Sandbox. After I tested with a valid paypal I go to the product, select it, click for payment and choose paypal, thus far everything is normal. Michael Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 I found a couple other places online where people were trying to use PayPal and were getting that message, here's an example: http://idevspot.com/forum/index.php?topic=2550.0 The response at the end leads me to believe that possibly you have not correctly set up the packages you're trying to purchase. Michael Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 I don't know of any payment gateway files other than the ones included in this app. I've not created a new gateway myself, but if you take one of the existing gateway files as a template, you may be able to use it to create one for a new service like that. The application has always behaved this way, I did not change anything about this since I took it over. What that essentially means is that you have no available options; there are no subscriptions available to you, you don't have an expired one you need to renew, etc. If you consider that a bug that it doesn't display anything, please submit a bug report.
