That's the way it is now:

It works for English language. But doesn't work for vast majority of foreigner languages out there, like Portuguese.

See how it is tranlsted in Brazilian Portuguese and beside what we can do using a fixed word (past):

ÚLTIMAS 24 HORAS -> right
ÚLTIMAS SEMANA -> WRONG: right is ÚLTIMA SEMANA
ÚLTIMAS 2 SEMANAS -> right
ÚLTIMAS MÊS -> WRONG: right is ÚLTIMO MÊS
ÚLTIMAS 6 MESES -> WRONG: right is ÚLTIMOS 6 MESES
ÚLTIMAS ANO -> WRONG: right is ÚLTIMO ANO

We need this to be changed.

I'll ask other foreigner users to post here to see if this happen in theirs languages.

No official response? It is a simple change that IPS could make and will not interfering in anything. Who uses the forums on Portuguese or/and Spanish will have problems with this variable.
