TCWT
For forums with a lot of posts, it'd be nice to have a feature to archive them to a separate database, like how vB does it.

Misi
For forums with a lot of posts, it'd be nice to have a feature to archive them to a separate database, like how vB does it. Out of the box VB does not have a separate database for that purpose.
Kessler
At this point, 3.2.0 is already feature locked. As an alternative, you might consider setting the filter options to limit the number of topics available as a default unless someone changes those options. TCWT
^ The whole point is to reduce the database size while also allowing them to be viewed. Mysqldump is already taking close to 2 minute to dump the 2GB database while it's locked.
