I noticed there currently isn't any integration with the "My Media" feature and the gallery, but will there be integration between the two when 3.2 is released?

Yes. Gallery hasn't been fully updated for 3.2 yet.

Will we be able to upload directly from "My Media" That seems like it would make a lot of sense.
