If you don't like a poster and don't want to read their threads you can do things like not enter their topics. The one feature on this board that a user can't stay away from are status updates. is there a reason why status updates aren't included in the ignore options? It undermines the credibility of ignore settings/system when a poster you want to ignore puts messages on the forum homepage and you can't ignore them.
