EDPEER
File Name: edOnClickFile Submitter: EDPEERFile Submitted: 20 Feb 2011File Updated: 21 Feb 2011File Category: Miscellaneous XML Files This is a bbcode that when you click on a word or hover on it, it will generate a popup with a definition of the word. It can be very helpful for use of space in a long tutorial or idea to be explained. Will be back with a more userfriendly version soon. Enjoy. A great thank you to: Alex R. | SFN Administrator for the invaluable inspirition and help. I learnt a lot from you m8. minds
A very good mod! Will use it for sure, but where are the definitions taken from? You have to manually set them in the DB? Link to comment
lonewolfe2015
Can the administrator define each word in a post individually as well as using a database? Would be better if words can be explained in context without blanket definitions for words. Link to comment
EDPEER
A very good mod! Will use it for sure, but where are the definitions taken from? You have to manually set them in the DB? This is a more manual type of bbcode. Sorry but there is no database to which the admin or user can go to. The definitions are provided by the users themselves. But sure we can look into that option. For example:[edOnClick='forum']A public meeting or assembly for open discussion [/edOnClick] Download the updated version. Link to comment
rastaX
I like that. For my purposes it is better to manually enter the definition. Thanks, a very useful bbcode! Link to comment

EDPEER
Doesnt work for me :S What you mean? Be specific. Did you make the proper edits to the globalTemplate? Did you edit the bbcode as instructed? Did you edit the addresses for the image files? Did you upload the image files? What you can do is download the first version and move on from there. Tell me what happens if it works or not ok Link to comment

Bartek
My dream is to have a mod like that but which automatically looks for words in post content that have definition (ex. definitions database, tags in definition forum, tutorials etc.) and when user put mouse over that word a short definition or/and link to full definiition popup appears. ahhh.
