bfarber Posted January 3, 2011 Share Posted January 3, 2011 1) If you gzip your content (which you should) it's irrelevant. ;) gzip does this automatically for transmission. 2) Browsers ignore extraneous whitespace 3) The primary problem is the dynamic nature and code formatting of the software. It's really difficult without adding a post-processing module to do this after it's generated, and I would venture to say that any such module would actually make the page SLOWER because of the extra processing that needs to be done. We'll work at cleaning it up over time where it makes sense, but it's not something that should be any concern whatsoever. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
