Separate chat window doesn't close when leaving chat

Maybe it's just my "expectation" of what the separate chat window should do, but it doesn't close the window when you leave chat, it just reverts to the forums home.

Not a complaint as such, just wondered if other people (and my users) would expect a similar behaviour (closing window on chat exit)?

Does anyone else feel the same, or am I on my own with this? ... lol

I was expecting the same thing. I thought when i closed the chat it would close the entire window.

Are you talking about when you click the "Leave" button in the popup? It's something I will consider, however it's actually (surprisingly) difficult to accomplish that at present. I didn't want to hold up the ability to use the separate window (which everyone seemed to want implemented) for one small detail in the mean time.

I understand. Could you load it into an "inner" frame and have an "outer" frame with a java close button that just closes the whole window?

A bit like shopping web sites that pop the product images into a closable window (although they generally have static/benign content).

BTW - I'm not "pushing" for this, just throwing ideas around - it's no biggie if it's left as it is :)
