Ocean West
I am just curious if you plan to at some point utilize HTML5's local database storage?
Fishfish0001
Probably not for a long time. Its still pretty new and most browsers don't support it, or don't support it fully.
Management Matt Posted December 21, 2010 Management Share Posted December 21, 2010 It's a technology that I'd love to use but realistically it's going to be a long time before we can unless we wanted to fork the interface into several different directions which isn't really feasible as it doubles the maintenance and development work needed. HTML 5 is an exciting emerging technology but it is still in infant stages.
Ocean West
Thanks for the info - was just curious as the tablet / mobile space HTML5 seems to be the standard ( on IOS & Android ) since that platform seems like a logical branch utilizing the core services of the device could be leveraged.
