Posted November 17, 201014 yr The Edit Forum Permission Set for any given permission the long list of all forums has NO hierarchy that resembles the forum other than "--" prepended to the name of the category or forum. However in the Forum Category & Forum Over view it visually show a nice visual structure to the forum. Categories are visually different from the forums. Makes it easy to zone In on the forum you wish to target. I guess its all about context for the task at hand - are you adding a new forum and setting up permissions for the Groups / or applying permissions to multiple forums.
