Ocean West Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 The Edit Forum Permission Set for any given permission the long list of all forums has NO hierarchy that resembles the forum other than "--" prepended to the name of the category or forum. However in the Forum Category & Forum Over view it visually show a nice visual structure to the forum. Categories are visually different from the forums. Makes it easy to zone In on the forum you wish to target. I guess its all about context for the task at hand - are you adding a new forum and setting up permissions for the Groups / or applying permissions to multiple forums.
