it IS a good system, not perfect, but the only real viable alternative to the default menus, at this time.
We have a sightly modified version on our DEV site - fixed top menu ;)


If I can work with a coder, I want to get the mega drop down menu running for IPB, but thats not a short term thing.

like that menu, fits well there.

As I noted in my original post. It IS a good menu system, well worth the cost, and until now we have always found it easy to work with and never experienced a problem.

In the interest of fairness, I should also now mention we have had a response and the author is trying to resolve our issue. Took a while but hopefully we get it resolved.

If you used an existing database table for Fusion menus then the paths are different on your test site. You will need to go back through your menu and save the new paths.

So where would I be looking? I saved all the links in the menu again and that didn't fix it. Do I have to go into the files on my hosting?

We upgraded our (test) board from 3.1.4 to 3.2.3 and it did indeed work ... but the sub-menu alignment was screwed up, even when we then tried it on a fresh install of 3.2.3. This is the support ticket the mod authors are still working on for us.

we are using it on 3.2.3 without issues. Check the downloads page to make sure that you have the right version, there may be a 3.2.x specific version, I don't recall

i do believe there was a fix from the author , perhaps he can update here

I've been on the authors site but haven't found anything about this issue so I've made attempts to contact the owner. I guess it must be a pretty complicated issue since no one has relayed a quick fix on this thread.

Hello. I'm looking to buy this. I just want to verify that you can add dropdown menus as well correct? Similar to the "More" tab you often get when you have too many links up to. So that you click that, and more links appear in a dropdown. That comes with this right?

yes, you can add drop down child menus off any parent menu.

well I put this on my main board, it won't show on my navi bar or erease the IPS navi bar.

I'm sure a reinstall will fix it, but is there a way to export my menu settings or something like that so I don't have to readd it all?

edit, I had this problem with another mod, only way to fix this is to uninstall it and reinstall it. So if someone can tell me how to save my menus by downloading the file that contains all my menu links I be very greatful.

Sure - use phpMyAdmin to export the table (ibf_fusion_menus) and reimport it after your re-install.

I bought this addon yesterday and I already have a big problem with the Active tabs from any URL that are not getting highlighted.

I've opened a ticket with them but I'm very disappointed that something so simple is not working already..

Any of you have any idea how to make the Menu items highlighted when they are active?
The issue seems to appear when the item is a URL and not a standard IPS application.

why he has it set so low there..but yet in the db he has it setup to hold 225 characters boggles the mind
