iArcade 1.1 Beta2

Developing takes already very long time. In few months IPB 3.2.0 will be released, so there is not reason still continue developing Arcade for 3.1.4.

I wanted to use Arcade for my site, but I don't want to wait so long. So probably I use my own solution for flash games.

I cannot install games.

i have this error

Warning: opendir(/web/htdocs/www.rm-online.it/home/forums/arcade /tars/) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /web/htdocs/www.rm-online.it/home/forums/admin/applications_addon/other/iArcade/modules_admin/games/import.php on line 124

arcade dir and subdir are 777

That's the same error I get when it attempts to install the game.

Looks like this has been abandoned :(

I did ask Collin in a PM about it and did not get a reply.

My guess is that as he and Mat are staff here now all their time is taken so this has been left.

A crying shame as it was so promising.

I hope that I am wrong, but with no replies from anyone here since January and no official support forum things do not look promising

:(

I have been having a rough time getting this to work. I currently use IBProarcade on my 3.1.4 but am dying to try this but keep finding problems.

I am setting up a test site right now to try this again and I will post what I find for problems.

So I tried uploading a game, installing it and it gave me a IPS Driver Error. (or something)

Warning: copy(/home/neal121/public_html/test/arcade/tars/gamedata/12sec_LGv2/) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/neal121/public_html/test/admin/applications_addon/other/iArcade/modules_admin/games/import.php on line 42

For some reason, iArcade 1.1 gives thhis error even if the game has been installed correctly, check if the games have been installed, if so, then all is fine and you have a working arcade :D

ok mine is working fine though.
I did notice an issue though. I was testing this and I downloaded a game that I know works from my otakuplayground.com site and installed it on my test site running iarcade 1.1. The game works fine on Otaku Play ground but does not work correctly on my test site. One one game the colors seem to be different. I was able to fix a few of the games by replacing the swf file, the one with the colors being off what not fixed that way.

Heres the million dollar question...

My main site runs ibparcade (3.1.4 vers) but I prefer iArcade interface. However, I have over 13,000 games on the current arcade. Could iArcade handle that many games if I pretty much did a mass installs of the games?

I could not find a mass installer on my test site for the iarcade it needs one though.

Just to let you know,

Development for iArcade 1.1 has not staled, work is still underway, but I think Collin maybe waiting for IP.Board 3.2 before he releases another version.

No offence Andy, but when Collin does not post here and the forum is disabled it does make one wonder.

I even asked in a PM, and got no reply :(

Hello,

I just installed Iarcade 1.1b2 on my forum but I have the following error when I try to display Arcade:

Fatal error: Call to a member function catList() on a non-object in /var/www/forumenigmes/admin/applications_addon/other/iArcade/sources/arcadeLib.php on line 182

It seems that no template modification has been done... I can't find them

Can someone help me ?
