Posted October 28, 201014 yr File Name: Posts to Leave Comment in Users ProfilesFile Submitter: NenaDiceFile Submitted: 28 Oct 2010File Updated: 28 Oct 2010File Category: Hooks and Plugins As requested by Top_Shotta at my other hook thread. http://community.invisionpower.com/topic/323925-download-view-portal-permissions/page__p__2034526 This will give the admin the option to make it so only users with a certain post count set by him/her can leave a comment in users profiles. By default it is set to 5 posts. Install the hook.xml file through Manage Hooks in your Admin Panel and then to congigure it go to System Settings. There you will see a new setting called NenaDice. Click on it and configure the hook to your needs. There you can enable/disable the hook, set the number of posts needed to leave a comment in users profiles, enter your custom error message and as last but not least you can choose which groups can bypass the post restriction.Click here to download this file

October 29, 201014 yr Author yeah it work only if the post count is low, when i set to 5 it work by time i change it to like 25 it stop working oh well.. :) I find it strange that you get that issue because the mod works fine even if you increase or decrease the post count. I always check and test my hooks thoroughly before I release them :)

November 3, 201014 yr I was wondering if this hook can also have a setting so you can set some groups to view the member profile page, like say newbie group will have to have so much post to see any member profile page  just something i was thinking about since you made this hook.

This goes beyond the scope of my hook. But you can request it at the request forum for such an hook to be created. It should be an easy one.
November 4, 201014 yr I find out the problem with this hook, will it work with newbies but if you go to comment a staff,VIP,Uploaders, ect group profile it don't work, but it work nice with new members that just sign up but other groups it just refuse to take effect. <_< P.S Newbies can comment staff,VIP,Uploaders, active members groups, but it don't let them comment newbies groups weird...
