davemcnally
As mentioned above, the 'Referrals' tab shown on my forum homepage takes me to a register page - After clicking that then navigating back to the homepage, I'm logged out. As I'm logged in to begin with, I shouldn't see this register form link. How do I go about removing it from my navigation? Thanks! *Edit - I see the link is supposed to go to: /index.php?app=referrals but it redirects to register form. I have the settings all done and enabled. Also, I don't see ANY options from my UserCP/settings pages to enable this for my profile, if that's required, or to manage my referrals, get my referral link etc. The only mention of it is in my notification options but even that's blank: http://adrop.in/myc Am I missing something? Currently, the tab in the navigation doesn't work as I'd expect and from the front-end of the site, there are no referral options, pages anywhere. davemcnally
Thanks, I've removed the tab from the index for everybody apart from guests as it only send us to the register page. However, I'm thinking it should be sending us elsewhere, like to some settings? In which case, I'd want it enabled for logged-in members... Strange? *Edit - I just found a front-end settings page at /index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=referrals - This can enable referrals for each member and give you the link to hand out but I had to manually find this page, it's not linked anywhere in my UserCP. Also, there are still no signs of referral information when looking at my profile.

davemcnally
Correct. I must fix it in the next release. Link is in UCP and in sidebar. The link isn't in my UCP though, I had to manually figure out and navigate to the link I edited into my above post.

DawPi
You need to enter public title for this app, and hide it (on the second tab when editing this app).
davemcnally
You need to enter public title for this app, and hide it (on the second tab when editing this app). A public title exists ( http://adrop.in/Xyc ) and it is already tab-hidden for all but guests ( http://adrop.in/Zyc ) as the tab only sends them to the register page. DawPi
Why you want to show it for guests? Hide for them.
davemcnally
Why you want to show it for guests? Hide for them. Because the tab redirects to the register page and I want guests to register?
DawPi
This wasn't my intention when I was created this mod, so I can't help yuou with this. Why you don't want leave it as is? Guests can enter referral name during register. No worry.

Guests can enter referral name during register. No worry. [img] [/img] I think you misunderstand my issue. I assume the tab should serve a purpose of sending users to their referral settings page to enable them? I don't want it to send them to the registration page, it just automatically redirects there! Also, why is there no link to the user-configurable settings in my UCP anywhere? Sorry for any confusion but you seem to have completely misunderstood what I've been saying? :)
• Jay •
You need to enter public title for this app, and hide it (on the second tab when editing this app). Hi DawPi, Thanks for making this mod. Although I was a little disappointed in 3.1.4's limited functionality, I have more hope for the new version. Like others, the tab redirects our members to the registration page, and there is no User CP link or anything else that I can find on the public side. Both the Application Title and the Application "Public" Title are set. Thanks as always for the effort you put into your mods.

davemcnally
I just updated to 1.1.1 and confirmed version in ACP but I see no change on the front end. Did I miss something? Thanks :)
DawPi
What mean no change? :)
davemcnally
What mean no change? [img] [/img] Literally no change. The tab (when I turn it on) redirects to registration - still not sure if this is intended or not but to be clear, it's doing this by default. Also, there are still no options within my UserCP to turn referrals on/off and get my referral link. I don't see any information on profile views regarding them too, even though that setting is enabled - although I've not referred anyone yet so not sure if that's why there's nothing in profile view. Hope this makes sense! ;)
Coltsman
Just to make sure, does this work with ibEconomy? So if some one refers a person they can earn x amount of points. Also in ibEconomy the points can be multiplied based on user group, will it still do this?
DawPi
I don't know ibEconomy, but mod mod works fine with almost all points systems - just check if economy has points fields in the DB (should has).
Coltsman
I bought it and it seems I am having the same issues as everyone else I also edited it for ibEconomy and the points arnt adding but i changed all the fields. Does it take a while to update?
