Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted July 20, 201014 yr Hi guys, I would just like to say a big thanks to everyone on this forum who have helped kick start my community, we experienced something that would normally have meant the end of any community, basically I had been running my community forums through IPBFREE.COM for 2 years without any probles, I knew the ACP inside out and I could make any changes I felt the community needed with my eyes closed, that was until last Monday when I tried logging on I found my community aswell as everyone elses community using IPBFREE.COM had vanished, wiped, finished, everything was gone, topics, posts and Profiles. Luckily enough I was able to quickly organise a recovery through my staff and my main site that I created using Joomla, with not much time before my members was gone for good I purchased a hosted community through yourself and within a day I had a fully working forum, although there is still alot to do to my community to make my members feel at home I cant help but think I would not have done it without you guys, its been frustrating but I got there through your help, so thank you. And thanks for putting up with my newbie questions. lol Im sure there'll be many more. Thanks TheWelshOne
