Reputation posts

Members on my site would like the ability to see which posts have been given reputation points, maybe it should be possible to click on the Reputation: 3 green background on your profile, to list your recent posts that have been given points.

Do you need technical support?

You can obtain support via the client area, or you can try to obtain peer-to-peer support at IPS Resources.

Admin Cp > Members > Manage user Groups > Select Group > Global Tab

Some members are requesting to be notified when have a post given reputation points. Some are ending up going through all recent posts to find which one was given a point. :ermm:

It'll be nice if members can at least see which posts got them reputation points even if they can't view who rated them.

Another suggestion I have is to let older posts not be able to get reputation points. Right now, I can go back a year and give reps to really old threads. There should be a feature to let Admin set a number of days for posts from receiving reputation points. So for example, posts older than 30 days no longer can receive reputation points.

Sorry for double post, but I also want to add which forums can or can't receive reputation. Think this will be helpful to restrict reputation abuse especially if you reward members with higher reputations.

I'd love to see that too. I don't particularly care who gave reputation (I have that turned off on my board, we use it as an anonymous thank-you), but I'd love to see what I said that someone thought worthy of giving a rep point to!

I mean, somehow I managed to get 4 reputation points here on IP.com. I'm still a giant IPB newbie, so I have no idea why anyone would give me rep points here yet, so I'm pretty curious.

I liked your screen name and that earned points with me. These suggestions are all great. This is one of the areas my current forum does well although that particular software's level of "obvious" for reputation points is almost zero.
