Hi,

I'm finally getting around to upgrading my site from vB3.8.4 to IPB this coming weekend, and just wondered about the likelihood of 3.1.2 being available?

Don't worry, I wasn't going to ... just double-checking to see if it was imminent ... :blink:

So is it safe to assume that 3.1.1 is 99% safe? I dread the whole patching thing! :)

3.1.1 has no known security vulnerabilities or critical functionality bugs. 3.1.2 is being worked on of course, but it won't be released within the next few days.

Waiting to install based on a update is not best practice. There will always be patches and updates.

Normally, no, but if an update is going to be released within a few days of your planned work, it may be best practice to wait a few days and save yourself the extra work ... :thumbsup:

Yeah I am a secure version now anyway so no panic to upgrade :)
