How to upgrade 2.1.7. to 3.x.x ? Can i do it without problem ? is it possible.

No problem but make sure your server is compatible. You can download a compatibility checker here.

If in doubt get IPS to do it for you.

It's quite straightforward, although as above use the checker to confirm your server requirements first. :)
