Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted June 28, 201014 yr Is it just me who doesn't see the sense in "An Error Occurred" when there are no search results to return. It's not an error at all - it's just a lack of results. I just know some of my members are going to be freaked out by this and report it as a problem. Can't we have something like "No results found" instead? Perhaps with the advice to try again with different words / settings? Thanks, Shaun :D PS. Apologies if this has been mentioned/discussed before!!
June 29, 201014 yr When there are no search results, you don't get an error. You get a search results screen that says "no results found". http://screencast.com/t/NzBjNzU0YzE
June 29, 201014 yr Author Ah, right, yes ... well ... I hadn't realised where I was ... I was on the tracker; which does give an error when there is no search result. Sorry, my mistake. <hangs head in shame> Cheers, Shaun
