Pretty simple.

It'd be nice for users who have been kicked to get a "you've been kicked" message. Right now, everything just stops responding, as if the chat has frozen up. Not good.

I agree.. I noticed that when I told a moderator to kick me!

That was a bug - addressed for next release.
