Wolfie
A few of us affiliates have noticed that links are not being properly logged when clicked. This happened as soon as the new site was launched (ever since that point, no clicks have been noticed). I'm sure that this is something that needs to get sorted out but once it does, will purchases made from clicks on respective affiliate links get the proper commissions? Management Charles Posted May 30, 2010 Management Share Posted May 30, 2010 Click tracking should be fixed. There have been logged affiliate sales since new web site went up so it was not a total impacting thing.
Wolfie
My concern (not only for me but for others as well) is that if a clicked link didn't register properly, then that affiliate may have lost out on a commission. I'm not sure how it tracks who the affiliate is, but if it's cookies, then there's a good chance some affiliates didn't get credit for purchases made.
Taylor J
My clicks aren't being registered either.
Management Charles Posted May 30, 2010 Management Share Posted May 30, 2010 Our internal graphs show clicks are being tracked normally now.
AlexJ
Little off topic: I was trying to register from wolfie's signature and figured this link doesn't work: http://www.invisionpower.com/affiliate/ So, when I filled the forum and clicked submit from wolfie's link, it said page not found. Go to http://affiliate.invisionpower.com/affiliates/signup.php?a_aid=90999ce6 to sign up ;)Um, he should use the link in my signature.
Wolfie
Our internal graphs show clicks are being tracked normally now. What about the clicks between the release of the new site up to last night? I know some purchases got credited to affiliates, but my concern is that some affiliate links got clicked and a purchase made but that affiliate didn't get credit for it. bfarber
What about the clicks between the release of the new site up to last night? I know some purchases got credited to affiliates, but my concern is that some affiliate links got clicked and a purchase made but that affiliate didn't get credit for it. If it wasn't tracked for some reason (I don't know any details mind you), it's doubtful there'd be any real way to go back and retroactively figure out affiliate clicks. If there was a glitch for a week where something wasn't tracked, my guess is there is little that can be done to change that now. The only thing we can do is fix that glitch moving forward (and it sounds like that has been done).
