Internal is great, no broken image and fast load but all image get blurry using Internal.
Kandice
DawPi, is there anyway to make the text not go under the Thumbnail when the text is too long? This make it look really messy because some go under and some does not. It also happen if you resize your browser width shorter. Any help would be great, Thanks! DawPi
Someone earlier wrote about this.. It will be checked when I find time to do this. Right now I'm working on other mods, so this case must wait. Hope you understand me.
THL
I would prefer the text in line also not offset.. It looks much better when aligned..

Kandice
Looks fine for me: [img] [/img] Dawpi, try dragging your browser width to a smaller size. I think your resolution is too big. I try with latest version, and it still does it. vBulletin the word does not go pass underneath the Thumbnail.

Kandice
Example: With Advance Thumbnail Install: Without Advance Thumbnail Install: Notice the word will indent in when it get too long. vBulletin: Notice it does not go underneath the Thumbnail and the word actually indent. If only it could look like this. As long as the word don't go underneath the Thumbnail.
DawPi
Hello, I can do almost everything, but you forget about one important thing - this mod does not require skin edits! I can't do everything what you want guys (and ladies ;) ). I'm worry, I can't release mod with manual edits (file or skins). If you find way to make it via CSS, then no problem - I can release new version with that, but otherwise.. :(
Kandice
So DawPi, are you saying it is not possible to released a version of Advance Thumbnail that does that without required a skin edit? Maybe you can tell me how to edit my skin to fix that if possible? Right now on lower resolution monitor it look like a mess.
THL
When they moved over to IPB 3 from the 2 series and incorporates user avatar thumbnails in posts, they could look bad, IPB modifed this to work correctly.. Probably a similar problem to what your seeing kandice as the resized images were poor quality and not as clear..

Probably a similar problem to what your seeing kandice as the resized images were poor quality and not as clear.. THL is there anyway to fix this or setting I can do on IPBoard? Advance Thumbnail and Our Topic suffer from the same result. Using it load the thumbnail as Attachment make the image blurry. This have stop me from using Attachment all together. Now result in many broken image because people hotlink image from other website.
THL
I'm sure Matt one of the moderators on here resolved the same problem when they restricted the size of avatars initially with IPB 3.. Maybe ask him, if He would help?
Kandice
DawPi, can you help me. I'm using version 1.0.3 and I don't see an option for Display Default Image Globally setting? DawPi
Argh, please redownload the mod and import file: admin\applications_addon\other\athumbnails\xml\athumbnails_settings.xml in the main board settings:
Kandice
Thank You DawPi, that setting now show. There seam to be a problem with Internal First if Failed External setting. I was wondering if there is anyway to make the Internal Image first, if failed external setting do the following: If post content Image in post, and Image Attachment, it will use Attachment first since the setting is Internal first, if failed external. If post content no Image Attachment, it will use Image External. Right now, it doesn't make sense because it doesn't do that at all. I set it as Internal first if failed external. Post that have both Image External, and with Image Attachment. It load External first even setting is set to Internal. It completely ignore Image Attachment if there is already an Image in the post. Please help. Thank You!
