gregoryf
Hi everyone, I'm excited about transforming my site from wordpress to a IPS 3.1 Community with Forums and IP.Content. If I keep my existing site at "mysite.com", while temporarily staging the new IPS site at a subdomain like "staging.mysite.com", will it be relatively painless to switch the staged to site to "mysite.com" when it's ready? Are any full URLs stored in the database, or is it just a matter of changing some config and clearing caches? I have Board, Content, Blog, and Gallery, but I'll probably initially go live with just Board and Content. Thanks a bunch - Greg
Michael
If you made any posts that referred to URLs on your board, those would need changed. What should be a complete list for things you'd need to change can be found here: http://forums.codersrefuge.com/tutorials/article/19-changing-the-url-to-your-forum/
