Wolfie
On the ACP login page, have the black banner at the top allowing the admin to go back to the forum. Useful if an ACP session has expired and they want to go to the main board. Not a major issue, just thought about it.
bfarber
There's already a "Go to board" link at the top of the ACP page in a black banner. I'm not sure what you're asking for, unless you are just asking for it to be styled differently?

Wolfie
It's just a minor change. More or less, would have the bar at the top of the page at all times, not only while logged in. Only for the ACP area though (would be a security breach if on the public end).

Nuclear General
In the login page. Not while you're already logged in, but while logged out and being asked for the login credentials. I think it would be a good idea. Cuz once you sign you, you have to your address bar and delete the end of it to reach your main board view. Having a link to the main board view would make it easier. Ryan H.
How often do you end up at the login page without intending to actually log in?
Lewis P
I never log out. I just close the browser window.
Wolfie
If I leave an ACP session open and then it expires, I sometimes click a link, am reminded that I need to re-sign in and at that point, if I'm limiting my tabs, I might want to view the main board instead of the ACP. Like I said in the topic title and in the OP, it's a small request. Thought I'd toss it out there. If it's added, great. If not, then oh well, no biggie. Voila, takes a whole 3 seconds. lol...

Voila, takes a whole 3 seconds. lol... The world could explode in those 3 seconds! Granted, at that point, it wouldn't matter anymore... Anyway, it's not an Earth shattering request, just one of convenience. No big deal.
Steve H
A lot more now that the admin cp link does not open in a new window/ tab. Just add in a target="_blank" to the skin/s global template.
Lewis P
I'm not seeing how you can accidentally hit the login link anyway.
Wolfie
I'm not seeing how you can accidentally hit the login link anyway. For me, there might be times when I either let a session expire and when clicking somewhere else on the ACP, it requests me to log in and that in itself might prompt me to look at the board. Just convenient to click another link and get to it instead of signing back in and then going to the board. Or if I log out of a session, I might want to be able to go to the board. Nothing more than a thing of convenience, nothing so major or big that IPS could advertise it as a feature to rival other boards.

I have not hit the log in link on accident but have hit the admin cp link on accident. I will usually just hit the back button when I do though. Robert Simons
not a bad idea..I can see it being useful... I personally have my ACP target a new tab ... so if I do get timed out I just close it off.
