i think that profile comments and status updates should be one.. and both should use the same box for posting on a friends "wall" and when posting on my own..

yep, would make it flow better.. also makes things more simples and less clutter... its very logical to have just one text input area also..

I definitely agree that they should be merged into a wall feature.

It's really pretty redundant having both and both are just adding another way to communicate that can potentially take away posting activity from our forums, it would be better, cleaner, and less confusing if there were just a wall rather than separate statuses and comments.

We'll probably be revising the profile page in one of the next major releases, we can take a look at this when that happens

I have shown my profile page to some friends and they were clueless why there are two (profile comment/ stats updates) different ways to comment. ^^ So yes, I like the idea about combining those two. :)
