Whilst importing the new skin last night I could not get the blogs to work, it kept coming up with an error so I updated the blogs from the ACP but stupidly overwrote the tables... could have sworn it said keep the existing tables, but anyhoo. Good news, blogs now work, bad news all the data is gone! Luckily the system fully backs up weekly so I have a backup from 3 days ago, but I don't want to fully import that as we have had hundreds of new posts since then on the boards. So my question is this. Is it possible to take the blog tables from the backup database and import into the live database? Invision Support say no, but I wanted to seek further advice...
