Just how Twitter works, when someone uses @UsersName it gets linked to the @UsersName profile.

The same could apply to the status updates, as I have seen many people (on different sites) use @UsersName to basically reply to a members status.

Nice idea. But please integrate it for standard links too - Like: http://www.google.com, www.google.com and google.com. That would be great!

i absolutely HATE twitter... please if you include that, make it optional. We have language to use it. Not to abbreviate every last bit.

I have been wanting this for a long time. I have tried 'reverse engineering' the member bbcode. but have failed many times. I think this could be done with a custom bbcode but I am not sure of its full capabilities.
