Would be nice if (per member group or perhaps just per forum, regardless of group) , there was an editing grace period where those who always have the edited line showing would not if they edited their post within say a couple of minutes of posting it.

Useful for those typo's that occasionally occur despite previewing the post beforehand where you do not wish to allow that group to remove the line normally. I think it would have to be restricted to a few minutes at most to prevent abuse though. :)

I've mentioned this before. Always irritating to go back to make a small edit within a minute and when done it has the 'edited' line, which I think looks bad if you only made a small correction immediately after posting because then someone might assume you made some other change and will wonder, what did they miss?
