If a user doesn't have an avatar set, it'll use their gravatar by default. :) Edit: There's also a setting "Allow users to use Gravatars?" which appears to be 'Yes' in a standard install, but may be turned off on your board. See Dan's profile as an example. ok i see now, so what if i dont have a photo or dont have an avatar, shouldnt there be an option to use whatever photo is available in the event that one is missing? bfarber Posted February 25, 2010 Share Posted February 25, 2010 IPB supports avatar and personal photo. You cannot shut off either (although you can remove permissions for a member to update either). A member can optionally use the same image in both locations, or use different images (as I do, for instance).
