Is it possible to give the post edit controls a bit of an upgrade? On my forum I allow users to edit their posts for the first 3 hours after posting and no deletions. I'd like the ability to override this on a post by post (or at worst a forum by forum) basis, but with the current permission system it seems to be all or nothing. An override such say "members may always edit their posts in this topic" would be sufficient.

So really? No comments on this? It's really extremely annoying, IIRC even PHPBB allows you to set edit controls on a per forum basis.

We don't comment on every suggestion made, though we do read every suggestion submitted.
