Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted December 20, 200915 yr One feature of vBulletin that I like very much is the ability for a member to suppress the signatures of other members via his profile settings, in order to reduce visual clutter and allow display of more posts per screen page. I gather that there was such a modification for IP 2.x.x. I reckon this ought to be a standard feature of IP Board. Are there any mods or plans to make this feature available in 3.x.x?
December 20, 200915 yr Author Ooops. Thanks! I'll let the board owner know that no modification is necessary. I guess he's not across all the feature of v3 as yet.
December 20, 200915 yr When posting, signatures are added by default. And I agree that they can clutter the output. So letting members switch them off is good IMO. You can set signature OFF by default when POSTING by editing the skin in 2 places, as detailed in the post at this link
