I suggest that it becomes possible to change the language direction (RTL <-> LTR) in the IPB editor on the fly (CTRL+shift) without having to change the whole language of the board.

This is necessary and more comfortable for Arabic forums such as mine. While we use the Arabic language as the default one, it's also frequent that we write English topics.
