Why not just add your GA code to your global_template?

I see no reason why it will not work with 3.1, it is a simple template hook.

Robert, have you considered updating this for the new tracker style?

It seems the new one is now placed in the head area, right before the closing </head> tag.

It seems the new one is now placed in the head area, right before the closing </head> tag.

There is no hook point just before the </head> tag, so that is not possible.

The nearest place I could use is the end of the if statement USE_RTE = <if test="userte: .... and I am not sure that will be ok.

Unfortunately it would not. I had to search for a bit yesterday and they say it works best in the head area. Worse, if it's not there you can't link Webmaster Central with Analytics.

The hook point of USE_RTE = <if test="userte: .... is in the <head> area just not right before the </head>

Ok, I have two 3.1.2 installs on the same server, one works and the other doesn't. No idea why. Both skins are just changes from the default skin and are almost exactly alike.

Hello,

Does it works with IPB 3.1.3?

Thank you.

3.1.4?

Well no need for the plugin, I just copy/pasted the code from analytics and it works.

Of course it works but the purpose of the hook is so that you do not have to manually amend skin templates which is good when you have multiple skins or for those that do not like making manual changes.

Works good on my side, thanks.
