It works for Admins, and Globals (due to the setting) but other than that only the topic starters can bump their topics.

I thought that any member of the selected groups could bump topics and not only the topic starters.

Any chance that anyone could bump other peoples' topics?

Right now it is only for the topic starter, I might add a new setting for that in the next release however :)

What about a hook that allows us to specify the minimum required (byte) length of a post, before it can be submitted. (Custom error message)

Basically, set the length to 20 bytes and if someone submits a post under 20 bytes, it won't submit the post, and it displays the error on top of the "new post" page, with their previous post intact (to edit / add to it).

Which other hooks do you have installed? Since this is an action overloader if another one is called before this one it won't work.

Actually that post should be in the mods requests section, however, I have a mod for that for IP.Board 2.3 and I plan to upgrade it for IPB 3 as soon as I get some free time :)

You can BUT if you put this one at the top then the other hook that overloads the topic file won't work..

I haven't tested it on 3.1 final yet but it should work just fine.

I've noticed that:

- secondary groups are not taken care of
- ability to choose groups which can bump topics as often as they like (would be useful for admin/mod/vip groups) is not in

Would be the the best bump mod period if it had these functions. I hope tera

It still works just fine in IP.Board 3.1 but I'll release a new update soon anyway.

I'm upgrading my paid mods for IPB 3.2 right now, once I'm done with them I'll start upgrading the free ones (next week most likely).
