I think this is great and I am trying to install this to my forum ip3.

I unzip this file, then go to ftp public html/ highlight uploads, then I upload the unzipped folder in one shot.

I go to acp/manage addons/modules and it shows up but with no name or anything. Its blank

what am I doing wrong? this is not my first hook or module I have installed either. I tried this five times with no luck! it does appear in admin/addons/other

Help would be grateful

Are you uploading the folder "upload" or are you uploading the contents within "upload"?

If you are uploading the folder itself (instead of only the contents), then that is where your problem is.

You need to go inside the "upload" folder and then upload the "admin" folder. If you have renamed your "admin" folder, then what I suggest is going inside the admin folder (locally and on your site) and then upload the application_addons folder at that point.

From what you are describing, you are uploading the "upload" folder from the Inactive Members archive to your forum root, which will create a folder named "upload", with a folder named "admin" inside of it, etc.

Anytime you come across a folder that says "upload" by itself (doesn't have other folders like "admin" or "public" with it), then you need to look inside there to see what the structure is. It's hard to explain and can get really confusing, but simply put, you have to figure out (not too hard) which folder to start uploading from.

What is defined as a cycle ? if i set it to notify 59 members then that occurs right away, when do the next 50 get notified ?

Mybe i have solved the above by editing the schesule but i am not sure if the task works. If i manually run the task it seems that 50 messages should have been sent but if i say set it to run at 10.00pm then there is no activity in the log, even though the notify task is set to on in the mod settings

I went in and edited the task itself and set it to on, i hope it works now

Found some bug.. and I feel it needs fix asap.

Scenario:

1. Person A is member of XYZ group.
2. He goes inactive and moved to CDF group.
3. Mean time XYZ group renamed to FGH group.
4. Person becomes active.
5. Problem: Instead of not moving to any group, mod moves him to group Administrator.

If you need SS i can provide it. But I think with above method you can re create the error. I hope it helps.
Thank you.

As long as the group ID is the same for the renamed group, this shouldn't happen, as the name of the group is irrelevant.

IF you can send me the screenshot, what would be great.

Thanks for fixing the issue in new release!! Many thanks!

Is their any option where I can delete members only with zero post and who are inactive on forums for more then 6 months? If member has made even 1 post or topic I don't want to remove his account. How can i do that?
Thank you.

M4rtin it deleted members with 100, 50 post and everything. It doesn't check if member has post or not. I am trying to restore my database if I can.

You should use the debug mode, to make sure it won't send emails or delete members when it's not supposed to.

I just disabled the mod for time being. Now, trying to make SQL query where last active is greater then 1 year and members having zero post.

You would need to have the current date/time value, minus 31536000 (seconds in a standard year). :)
