Just a minor thing, you updated the hook human version but not the long one:

            <hook_version_human>1.5.3</hook_version_human>
            <hook_version_long>10502</hook_version_long>

The readme also has some references to 1.5.2 :tongue:

Hi,

I just wanted to upgrade from an earlier version (1.3.4) which was still running fine. Now I am getting the following error message during installation:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'NOT EXISTS inactivemembers_excludedmembers ( exclude_id int(10)

my member login back but they still marked as inactive members

I have the same problem. This App used to work fine. No longer works even after upgrading to the latest version. There appear to be no administrator settings and it simply says "The member will be moved back to the original group once they make a post or visit the board". This issue was originally flagged up on this topic in January 2013. Will there be a fix?

what do you mean by no administrator settings? admins group not showing on ( Select which groups to move when inactive ) ?

then no, staff groups are protected, as for other groups not moving to a new group i just checked on my test board and it works fine

They're hardcoded in the templates so you'll have to alter/remove them like you did when removing IBSkin's copyright.

Anyway, I answered your original question. You remove the hardcoding exactly as you did when altering the templates before.

I am having a strange problem since I installed this hook. It works great, however, after a while, the cron job is automatically disabled from the scheduled tasks, for some reason I can't understand.

I go to System > System > System Scheduler > Manage Inactive Members

Right now "Notify Inactive Members" is active to run every 15 minutes.

However, after a few days, I return here and it is deactivated.

Maybe the hook, when there is nothing to do on a schedule job, deactivates itself? This shouldn't happen, because we may not have users that match the inactive criteria today, but probably tomorrow or the day after we certainly will!

Please advise.

and see if he can export the settings and give them to you because i can't remember what i did and don't have the time now to check.

Thanx for nothing. Had to check the issue by myself. Problem's with alphanumericalClean() function, which strips all non_Latin chars. Remove it from settings - all will be good. Definitely a bug, which should be fixed.
