I think it's better to have it like before, one name per line. Also, change the message to use commas to separate: You may add up to 5 other recipients, separated with commas.

What is the purpose of hiding names since all can see all participants anyway? Unless you want a 'silent' participant - but that can be a privacy issue.

Because there is no "CC" option anymore. It's a conversation, not a one-to-one message.
